JSY is not your typical jazz band. This eclectic group of musicians hailing from Kuala Lumpur came together in 2017, united by their passion for music and a shared desire to create something truly unique. Led by the sultry and soulful vocals of Celist Chow, JSY is on a mission to infuse their music with a youthful energy that sets them apart from their peers.

The band is made up of some of the most talented musicians in the region, each bringing their own unique style and sound to the mix. Eddy Lim's saxophone adds a touch of smooth sophistication, while Lim Lee Peng's piano skills lend a jazzy vibe. Icco Elnoel's bass keeps things funky, and Terrence Ling's drums provide the perfect beat for the band's infectious sound.

JSY draws inspiration from a variety of musical genres, including R&B, Funk, Latin, and of course, Jazz. But they don't just stop at playing covers – instead, they put their own spin on each song, adding their own creative arrangements to keep things fresh and exciting.

Despite being a relatively new band, JSY has already made a name for themselves in the local jazz scene, performing at some of the most prestigious festivals and events in the region.
