J.T. Rogers

J.T. Rogers is a Seattle-born, Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. With sounds ranging from indie pop, to synth pop, to dream pop, to alt pop, every song is unique and has infectiously catchy hooks and intricate compositions of many instruments and harmonies. Because of this unique combination of skills, audiences both recreational and professional alike tend to assume his songs were produced by many people, despite it being just him.
J.T. has been writing and self-producing music in a bedroom since he was only 10 years old, about a decade before the trend of bedroom pop rose to cultural mainstream, and has been playing and writing music since he was even younger. Now in his 20s, J.T. Rogers plays over 7 instruments, writes and records every part of his songs himself, composes and sings all of his vocals and lyrics, as well as does quite a bit of its mixing and mastering.
J.T. Rogers also has experience living at the intersection of transgender and Jewish identities, and uses his platform as a musical artist to help his communities and to further social justice causes for the uniting of humanity as a whole, no matter their backgrounds and political beliefs. He has a very unique and fascinating life story of surviving many types of abuse and otherwise difficult situations, and through his successes and failures, J.T Rogers hopes to inspire, entertain, and heal the next generations to come.
