Influences drawn from everyday psychedelia and experimental electronica; bubbling and hazy yet somehow crystal clear at the same time; vivid instrumentations and visionary commentary on alternative pop tradition; wild imagination shaping new forms; new kind of understanding of expectations and hope.

J.Tala (Jussi Hietala) began songwriting in the late 90’s, but in his songwriting activities were pushed to sidelines in the 2000's, as he enjoyed a period full of international touring, studio sessions and album campaigns. Hietala worked intensively with acclaimed bands such as Underwater Sleeping Society, Rubik and Pariisin Kevät among others.

In the late 2010’s, Hietala made a surprising decision and dropped out from the successful band activities almost completely to concentrate on his own music: following his very own instincts, writing and playing everything by himself.
