Ju

Ju is a St. Louis native hiphop artist. After gaining a strong following and a reputation as a stellar lyricist, and stage performer, Ju signed his first major record deal with Priority/ Capitol. During his tenure with Capitol, it became evident that the label's vision for Ju was quite different from his own. After languishing in limbo for over two years, Ju left the label and began the pursuit of his own independent success.
His mixtape series; Memoirs of a Drug Lord Kings and Pawns Vol. 1 has received rave reviews from local DJ’s to hip hop connoisseurs across the globe. Packed with effusive street anthems and tales of the gritty street life of the West Side of St. Louis, Kings and Pawns’ delivered a solid, “album-like” feel and cohesive flow. Ju worked with seasoned artist as well as newcomers. Such as protégé Dollersign Deezy, Eldorado Red, Aye Verb, Stank, and Hitman Holla, as well as R&B sensation Bradd Young. With a production mixture of Ear Drummers CEO Mike Will Made it, Jackpot, Seneca, Supa Sag and ICU, Ju was proclaimed a street classic!
