Juan Solorzano

Juan Solorzano is a Honduran-American producer and musician based in Nashville, TN. Solorzano has a penchant for precision—his playing and production methods are focused on tastefully complementing an artist's vision, simplifying or accentuating where needed to let the songs breathe.


He joined indie-folk band <a href="spotify:artist:533wKOfkJylNSi6ntO1wXd" data-name="Night Beds">Night Beds</a> in 2012, playing guitar and bass pedals simultaneously. Leaving Night Beds in 2014 allowed him time and space for collaborating with both established and emerging local artists. He&#39;s played with alt-country and Americana acts like <a href="spotify:artist:5fIZHCg2de8322HZodBDWL" data-name="The Secret Sisters">The Secret Sisters</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:27IiEYV6p8fs5j8n39Pk1u" data-name="Aubrie Sellers">Aubrie Sellers</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3CLVmW8xRSlt22I2txD4Rx" data-name="Tyminski">Tyminski</a>. Not bound by genre, Solorzano currently lends his guitar stylings to singer-songwriters and weird indie bands alike (<a href="spotify:artist:5zuqnTZOeJzI0N0yQ7XA7I" data-name="Ruston Kelly">Ruston Kelly</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7EGwUS3c5dXduO4sMyLWC5" data-name="Houndmouth">Houndmouth</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5n9jfCRA7AFY1JfYc5ZYK5" data-name="Becca Mancari">Becca Mancari</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0yvalMtqijFbClXzI8Ey11" data-name="Brooke Waggoner">Brooke Waggoner</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3oBTbHZSfINA6wM6pZuxNw" data-name="Groh">Groh</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:18XJQI3RuTn29OWStXXWKD" data-name="Good Buddy">Good Buddy</a>, to name a few), but he&#39;s recently settled into his own as a producer. He&#39;s produced records with Zachary Dyke of <a href="spotify:artist:0ZxZlO7oWCSYMXhehpyMvE" data-name="COIN">COIN</a> for <a href="spotify:artist:5dUUxJQg27XaHdKyLYwNg5" data-name="Molly Parden">Molly Parden</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0BU835xMjZ04GXuJSxBrJy" data-name="Cale Tyson">Cale Tyson</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0eoo5YovFFByDEwxJa2Gwc" data-name="Preston Lovinggood">Preston Lovinggood</a> and his self-produced debut, &quot;Time Machine.&quot;
