Jude Seda is a songwriter from Tarntanya / Adelaide, South Australia, who uses the guitar as a vessel for sharing memories, drawing from the thematic tendencies of folk storytellers old and new. Their music and words are of swirling moments, obscured or bared, taking both distinct forms or being totally lost in time.
Jude Seda wishes to pay their respects to the lands they inhabit, the ancestral lands of the Kaurna people, and acknowledge the long history of aural storytelling which has taken place on those lands for tens of thousands of years, and that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded.
Jude Seda's debut EP "This House is a Place of Hope", a four-track exploration of home, loss, and belonging across the sonic landscape of analogue tape and room-sound, released on the 5th of December, 2025.
