Coming out of Phoenix, Arizona, rapper Judge Da Boss kicked his career off with an East Coast connection when he debuted on Hypocalypto Records, the label owned by New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire. Born Robert Louis Carr III, Judge Da Boss won Hypocalypto's "Chosen One" competition in 2010, then released his The Chosen One mixtape that same year, and in 2011, jumped on <a href="spotify:artist:137W8MRPWKqSmrBGDBFSop">Wiz Khalifa</a>'s "Black and Yellow" beat for the hit Knicks anthem "Stat and Melo." Two years later, his track "Retard Money" landed on the Movie 43 soundtrack, while 2014 saw him sign with Sony and release the single "Hell Yeah." ~ David Jeffries
