I'm Judson Jenkins, an independent musician from the smoky mountains of East Tennessee. My childhood was colored with Sunday dinner at Granny's house and riding in the back of pickup trucks, so you can bet that I've got a little bit of a country flair in my veins. But I've always craved the idea of being free from a categorized genre. I believe music is an ocean of kaleidoscopic wonder, and I want to swim in it all. So while you will probably find that I lean mostly towards Pop music, I enjoy creating anything from Country, Rock, Cultural Melodies like Celtic and African styles, along with a small jazzy/blues intrigue, and maybe even a little hiphop/rap if I can get better at it. I mimic this gypsy way of enjoyment with my instruments, preferring to dabble in a little bit of everything rather than mastering a single one. From Piano, guitar, banjo, and ukulele, to drums, percussion, synths, and woodwinds. I hope one day to add saxophone and cello. My goal through my songs is also married to my melting pot methods. I write anything from breakup songs, fight songs, inspirational leads, catchy dance tunes, to the all powerful love song. My desire is to make you smile if you need some joy, cry if you need to let it out, sing your lungs out if you feel you relate, and maybe put a little boogie in your feet on a good day. My story is also riddled with hard times and hopelessness, so above all, my capital motive is to ignite a sense of hope in your heart when you hurt.
