Júlia F Lins

Júlia Lins is a Brazilian independent singersongwriter "who writes a Dylan-esque style of story-telling music", as Sailing La Vagabonde perceptively wrote. In 2017 Júlia released her homemade EP, Music & Emotion, composed of five songs mostly based on raw emotions. Albeit her main inspirations - artistic, and surley musical - are her early childhood memories from Bristol, England UK, where she lived magical experiences still not forgotten. This is also why, as a Brazilian, Júlia writes and sings mainly in english: it is where she finds her best lively-sensations and can very naturally translate them into music. Júlia is releasing Silfos, her debute album. In it the tendency is less monothematic and drives, in an organic movement, to a more magical and adventurous stimmung. New guitar intimacy and freedom in voice expression is to be expected as Júlia is diving wider and more consciously in her own tone, guitar style, narratives and imagination. As kind Jak from Sailing La Vagabonde Music wrote: "Stripped back guitar drives songs with an endearing and attractive quality sound that is, unfortunately, missing in a lot of new indie recordings. The sound is certainly a niche, and Júlia is fitting it well. Tracks are rhythmic and provide a simple platform for Júlia’s soft vocal. Oftentimes guitar effects are experimented with at random, adding even more character to her songs."
