Singing has been a big part of Julia Rose’s life for as long as she can remember. She started guitar lessons at a young age and singing lessons followed a couple of years later. She discovered her love and talent for song writing when she was asked to write a song for a school play. Many songs followed and when she was 14 started performing in the small café’s of Breda.
In high-school she joined the school band where she came in contact with jazz and funk. She also formed a pop/rock band with friends, which she wrote all the songs for. It wasn’t until she came across a request for a singer-songwriter on social media that she started writing dance tracks. She realised that she loved the studio work and her warm and raspy sound seemed to catch the attention of more producers.
