Julia Williams is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Long Island, New York. Ever since she was a little girl, singing along to tunes she’s only heard the first verse and chorus of became routine in the Williams’ residence. Growing up, Julia was exposed to a variety of genres (thanks to her parents), including 70’s-90’s pop, metal, country, and rock. Today, Julia’s biggest musical inspirations are pulled from artists such as AJR, Lizzy McAlpine, Olivia Rodrigo, and Gracie Abrams.
Gravitating towards an emotional connection through music, Julia pursued composition and songwriting at the College of Saint Rose. She graduated summa cum laude in May 2024 with a B.S. in music industry.
Julia’s latest release, Fragments, was her senior capstone project from Fall of 2023. She had three months to produce, record, mix, and master an album throughout the semester. She released two songs as singles, and then released the album on her birthday. Julia is excited for her upcoming projects, and has already started working on her next album.
