Starting out as a drummer at a young age, rhythm has always been a huge part of Julian’s creative process. In the past few years he began writing music on guitar and piano, incorporating interesting rhythm with his breathy voice to create haunting melodies that tug at the heartstrings and move the body. He is greatly inspired by a wide variety of artists like Alex Turner, Snow Patrol, Secret Machines, Cage The Elephant, Mac Demarco, Chet Baker, Death Cab For Cutie, Frank Ocean, The Strokes, and The Vaccines, but his sound is all it’s own. His debut full length album, Sorrow Is A Virtue, is set to release in July 2019.
