Julie King, also known by her previous stage name YULIANNA, her journey from the rigorous music teachers of Kazakhstan to the grand stages of Coachella and beyond, narrates not just an artist's evolution but a profound personal metamorphosis. Born into a musically inclined family in Almaty, Kazakhstan, relocated to Santa Barbara during her teenage years and the transition was fraught with challenges. Yet, it was also during this period that she found solace in poetry and music. King’s ‘Money’ was selected for a title song in movie ‘Jacked$’. Her other albums include “La-La-Land” in collaboration with Robin Nixon, ‘Forgiveness’ Walter A. “Californ-i-a” that she co-produced with Spencer Nezey (SPNCR) and Nick Furlong, in the title song of which features a collaboration between King and The Game. Her original single, “Don’t Take Your Love Away”, debuted in 2012 at #5 on the Billboard Dance Charts.
