Julissa Leilani, is a Bay Area native, born in the heart of Oakland, CA. She grew up singing in her room where she’d spend hours teaching herself how to play piano and guitar. From a young age she fell in love with singing and songwriting. She attributes her early music knowledge to her mom where she would play all kinds of different music on their car rides to and from school.

Her heart is to tell stories and weave the threads of life's most profound experiences into melodies that resonate with depth and soul.

Her journey as an artist is guided by a profound appreciation for the beauty found within life's chaos and the intricacies of humanity.
