Julius Marx offers a unique blend of catchy melodies, delicate guitar playing, distinctive raw vocals, groovy drums and melodic synthesizers.
The 27-year old, Cologne-based singer, songwriter and music producer started making music at the age of 8, when he saw a band playing on his mom's birthday. While learning guitar, he started to write his own songs and do his first gigs. Born and raised in Germany, Julius spent a lot of his childhood summers in New York City with his uncle, which has inspired him to write all his music in English.
Growing up experimenting with a lot of different genres, such as electronic, hip hop, rock, he took a while to find his own sound. Since the first record, Julius has been engineering, producing and marketing all of his songs himself.
Having released his acoustic and singer-songwriter based debut single in August 2019, he is now gradually making his way to a more uplifting, electronic and groovy sound with his third single “Ocean Views“ and his fourth single "Vices".
