June Road are a song writing duo, consisting of British folk artist <a href="spotify:artist:0Rl5q2Pq8y9xRbujCpZueF" data-name="Harry Pane">Harry Pane</a> and Belgian violinist Maia Frankowski. Brought together by a beautiful twist of fate, the couple met on stage during a UK/European tour in 2019 where both their songwriting and relationship began to blossom. A powerful sense of warmth and energy flows through their work, combined with personal lyrics that reflect the duos life.
Their first collaboration began in 2020 with the release of <a href="spotify:track:2FNoEP0UXw0cvikxPPs4ZU" data-name="Time">Time</a>. This single saw the beginning of their transition into what is now June Road.
It’s a huge passion for travelling that helps to inspire a lot of the songs written. A blend of rich vocal harmonies meets rhythmic finger picking guitar work and the warm melodic tones of the violin. A common admiration for diverse acts such as Ben Howard, Fleet Foxes, Sarah Jarosz and Fleetwood Mac inspires their tone and musical aesthetic. This act has a real focus and desire to write, perform and express their genuine love for all things music!
