The core of the band consists of Daniel Hauser and Marc Fischknecht, who recorded their debut "You Know" as a duo in the living room of their shared flat in Sankt Gallen and released it in 2006. In 2008 "Consequences" follows, the basic structure of which is again created in the living room, but is then refined with a band in the studio.

Live, the sound tinkerers surround themselves with up to seven musicians, with whom they perform in the following years mainly in Switzerland - also at big festivals.

In 2011 "Don't Leave Me In Autumn" will be released in their home country, where Junes enrich their rather melancholic pieces with strings, guitars and beats. The result: dreamy pop without allusions to the charts, which also meets with open ears in neighbouring countries.

In 2012 the album will be released in France and Germany and will bring Junes some international attention. The songs on it "were created with heart and lots of coffee, discarded, loved again, lived and recorded">, they explain.

In addition to Hauser (piano, vocals) and Frischknecht (guitar, vocals), Philipp Schmid (drums) and Lukas Speissegger (bass, production) were also involved. "Last Night Castellano" was released in September 2014 on the Berlin label Solaris Empire.
