Formerly 1/2 of The Halve Two and Currently 1/3 of <a href="spotify:artist:2QNaoCMcBIvh0k7DUEAMCZ" data-name="Glass Tung">Glass Tung</a>.
Junes was born late in December and is the middle child of 3 boys. He spent most of his childhood skateboarding, doing graffiti &amp; running from cops while trying to avoid the catastrophe that was his home life.
By age 12 he found music to be therapeutic to the social anxiety and manic depression he had. At the age of 17 he decided he wanted to help people the way he was helped, through music. Music was the perfect way to help heal others while simultaneously filtering out what life throws his way. He was attracted to the real, gritty feeling and emotion of indie rock and underground hip hop, which helped to influence his style and sound. Emo boombap and indie trap are integrated into his ever evolving sound.
Junes has been fortunate enough to open for artists like Grieves, Dessa, Sapient, Prof, Del, Blueprint &amp; Mac Lethal just to name a few. While venturing in live performances, Junes found his second love in music, the stage. Being able to convey the emotion he uses to write his song in a live show setting is his secondary goal to making music he feels is honest.
