JUNI is a singer, songwriter and producer from the forests in the south of Sweden. She creates dark, alternative pop and takes inspiration from contemporary R&B, electronica and the myriad of sounds and thoughts that fly around her. Fragility, mixed with distortion and heavy beats, provide a soundscape that both scratches and caresses you.
With lyrics about loneliness, desperation and anxiety, she reveals her whole self in the music and allows herself to express every thought that might come to her in the dark hours of introspection.
In 2021 she released her debut single ”Change” and the Swedish, electronic music podcast ”Blå Måndag” drew comparisons with Imogen Heap calling it a strong debut.
