Started out as mates living under the Hells of Beppu, near the mountain of Jūmonjibaru, Arkaanu Dhiyaa (Vocal), Daniel Mahardika (Synth), and Andra Khalifa (Guitar) were 3 college students and aspiring musicians.
Finding their music through small stages and jam sessions, while discovering different sounds through each of the different seasons, Junji finally formed in the late 2021 after returning to their hometown of Jakarta, Indonesia.
Rooting from Disco, J-Pop, Alternative, and Indie music, the trio aims to deliver groovy beats with hooky melodies, while still voicing relatableness in their tunes.
