Junno is Marta Falcão's debut solo project, formed in 2019 and based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Her debut EP "Middle" explores the trying process of personal growth, the obstacles, thoughts and emotions inherent to this search, blended with an instrumental in unpredictable melodic layers with a touch of indie-pop, dream-pop and synth-pop.
Its spacey and introspective feel that contrasts with Junno's soothing, yet imposing vocals, are a small preview of what her EP, produced by Miguel Laureano (SEASE) and Ricardo Nagy (vaarwell), brings to the vast Portuguese musical scene.
Her influences are rich with variety, ranging from jazz to pop, contemporary folk to electronic music.
Junno has previously collaborated and participated in live concerts with bands such as Golden Slumbers, Lotus Fever and MONDAY.
