AN INTRODUCTION TO JUST FLARE
Hi there!
We are Zac & Hannah from Just Flare and we have been making music together in Tasmania since 2017.
We currently write and record all our own music, and we are passionate about taking things back to basics, creating music that is real, honest and relatable.
Our sound takes notes from alot of Alternative, Indie/Rock and Modern Rock influences including Boy & Bear, Sam Fender and Kings of Leon, but is unique unto itself as we really try to make music that is true to who we are as individual musicians.
A lot of our sound comes from our hand-built boutique amps built by Zac and his Dad AJ which you can hear throughout our music (especially in our recent tracks). We really enjoy the journey of always improving our sound both live and in the studio, and our amps play a large role in carving out our sound and our identity.
During our time together, we have been lucky enough to support artists including <a href="spotify:artist:04HjibunL2jGRLEqVEMfZY" data-name="Ash Grunwald">Ash Grunwald</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3Xi0ijvDqhkoUcefQ6OuPL" data-name="Chase City">Chase City</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3egSUUwmny1ssvuT14VJNa" data-name="Cuban Heel">Cuban Heel</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0FDW3axHactZo8HU0OnNVy" data-name="Pseudo Echo">Pseudo Echo</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3EN535SkJxzMVp1vb4ufYK" data-name="Paul Colman">Paul Colman</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:4WxHef1Si5yaAaCWUc6Ug2" data-name="Fanny Lumsden">Fanny Lumsden</a> and have been grand finalists of Listen Up Music's <a href="spotify:album:5DCYtY3zn9O2o5wCwn0CWi" data-name="The Songwriting Prize 2019">The Songwriting Prize 2019</a> without track 'Blind'.
