Just Simon

Just Simon - Dance Pop and R&B with a touch of organic house, in a danceable form. Dreamy and playful vocals merges with the depths of bass, drums and world samples, meticulously picked and mixed to perfection.

Based at Tjøme and in Bergen, Norway, Simon N. Tøllefsen and Johannes O. G. Hallanger has known each other since childhood. Since 2016 and the birth of the project Just Simon, they’ve carved out a good amount of music under the artist name.

2025 marks the start of a new chapter though. A new beginning, where the roles of Johannes and Simon is more of a duo-project, rather than the previous solo-act, that it has been more or less.
With the instrumentals and mixing being laid down completely by Johannes, Simon is going all in on vocals, lyrics and visuals. And while Simon is Just Simon’s face outwards in a big degree, the music of Just Simon is now nowhere near a solo project. The sound is much more ambitious and consistent, the guys are going all in this year. And the new chapter is initiated by the release of The other side. The first drop from the new Just Simon-era.

Lots of music is coming, and it’s just as good!
