In 2010 Koke was invited to BBC Radio 1Xtra and released a ‘Fire In The Booth’ freestyle for DJ, Charlie Sloth, which has since become one of his most infamous pieces of work to date and currently has over 11 millions views. Koke stood out amongst fellow artists due to his raw, intense, angry, vulnerable, boastful, emotional and truthful lyrics, and became a focus for a number of major labels A&R departments. In early 2011 Koke became the first British rapper to sign to Roc Nation by Jay-Z himself.
Pure Koke Vol 4 was released independently in the UK via USG Entertainment and charted in the official album charts. Maintaining complete independence and control over his output, he released all of the visuals and contents via his own YouTube channel (kkoketv) over the remaining months of the year, gaining millions of views and reassuring fans further of his return.
As of February 10th 2018 Koke announced the release of his new FFF Prison EP revealing the tracklisting featuring tracks with Maverick Sabre, Big French and Angel. The EP was once again set to release via USG Entertainment on 30th March.
