K-Lien was born and raised in San Jose, CA where he went from freestyling for fun to battle rapping for respect. This is how he developed his unpredictable unparalleled style. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Ludacris, Eminem and the Late great Tupac Shakur, you can hear the emotion the catchy rhythms and lucid wordplay.
K-Lien got his first break in college when he was introduced Shock G of Digital Underground and was subsequently featured on his solo album, "Fear of a Mixed Planet". He went on to license songs to MTV BET VH1 and Universal Pictures to pursuing music full time.
K-Lien began touring the west coast living show to show where he quickly grew tired of the starving artist lifestyle. So he took an offer to tour South East Asia as a performer and DJ. For the first time, he was headlining in front of thousands of thrilled onlookers at sold out venues. "Even though my face was on buildings and billboards, I felt half famous" says K-Lien. Despite his popularity in Asia his sights are still set on establishing himself in the U.S.
