Ka Fu

My debut album "Encoding: Master" was out at the end of 2019. The album boasts mixing credits by Klas-Henrik Lindblad (Anja Schneider, Rodriguez Jr., The Presets) from Berlin BlackHead Studios and has received support from The_accidental_poet, Data Transmission, XS Noize, Child Of House and Progressive Dreamers amongst others.

Currently residing in Milan, I was born and raised in the previously closed Russian military city of Severodvinsk, as a result there is a certain DNA in my blood with desire for perpetual change. A self-confessed global nomad.

The decision to create music was spontaneous. It's about no concern for time. Wherever I might be it is good enough to construct a “home” by creating my vibes. To create meaningful sound waves I'm abandoning the constraints of genre in an attempt to rediscover the unique feeling of creating something from my own Universe.

I'm always inspired by Depeche Mode’s moody, introspective effusions, and their ability to convey a message so aptly without words. With my own sound trying to deliver that kind of emotional message, while at the same time drawing parallels to the rich ambient atmospheres of Orbital, Autechre, Brian Eno, and Boards of Canada, as well as the textured soundscapes of Noah B, Com Truise, Plaid, and Øfdream.
