The Kaccheri Boys are a Bangalore based rap duo comprising of Dank Sinatra and Dr. G. Doing their part to contribute to the culture, their vision is to redefine the sound of this city by creating alternative hip hop with a heavy emphasis on lyricism and storytelling. Their collaboration is aimed at tackling a broad range of issues (both personal and topical). You can find the Kaccheri Boys experimenting with their flows, narrative styles, and subject matter in three different languages (English, Tamil, and Kannada) looking to constantly innovate and expand their musical repertoire with every song. They draw inspiration from Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Andre 3000, MF DOOM, Mos Def, Kanye West, Joey Badass, JID, Mac Miller, Nas, and Anderson Paak. It is their hope one day to have played a part in putting the Bangalore hip hop scene (a city already famous in its right globally for many great things) on the map.
