Kacia (Kieran Poling) is a 22 year old musician from Portsmouth, England. Now Signed to Big Hug Managements ‘Salt House Records’ Kacia has been featured as ‘the next big thing in alt pop’ by Wonderland magazine, and featured on New Music Daily, Pop Deluxe, and New in Pop on Apple Music’s editorial playlists. Kacia has also found success on national radio with his third and fourth singles “Plastic Straws” and “Drifting Apart” being played on Mollie King’s future sounds show on BBC radio 1.
Kacia has teamed up with Fareham producer, co-writer & now firm friend The Cave Studio owner Matt Fisher over a remote Zoom writing session back in March 2020. They soon settled on a new Alt Pop production sound they both loved, with Influences inc The 1975, No Rome & Lany. It didn’t take long for an album to be in the works.
‘Young Fun Dumb’ and ‘Night Out’ are the first two first tracks from Kacia, recently being joint by his third single ‘Plastic Straws’ written and produced alongside artist and friend <a href="spotify:artist:4zahKdp1kPNHEVGrJ2gZdw" data-name="ST LUNA">ST LUNA</a>. Kacia also introduced “Drifting Apart” during early 2024, as well as showcasing his latest single “Living it Out” which is all building towards exciting plans set for the remainder of the year. Kacia’s debut album ‘What if Life is Just a Movie’ is set for release early 2025. The tracks have been mixed by Oli Jacobs (The 1975, Charli XCX, Harry Styles) & mastered by Nomograph mastering (Sam Smith, Lana Del Rey).
