Kadoka originates from “hodoka”, meaning ‘hole in the wall’ in Lakota Language, a name fitting at inception back in 2015, during a time of grieving, rediscovery and release. Rooted in the awareness and acknowledgment of the true origin of family, Kadoka makes music to honor the natural sacred order, uplift the spirit and evoke healing through embracing vulnerability, channeling mystery, and offering praise.
