Kago

Kago is an artist from Frankfurt, Germany. As a son to a stock broker, he grew up in New York City in his early childhood. He developed his love for music in long car rides with his parents, where they would listen to classics from the 80s. At the age of five, Kago started to take drum lessons. He would never quit practicing, wrote songs with his younger brother at the age of eight and joined several bands in his Teenage years. He went to school in Frankfurt and desperately seeked to go back to the United States, which he did for a High School Student exchange year in Columbia, Missouri by the age of 17. In his lunch breaks, Kago would listen to co students freestyling to rap music in the huge Cafeteria hall of David H Hickman high. He loved the Rhythm and beat that went smoothly with vocal Sounds and Melodies. When one of his closest friends passed away, Kago wrote his first rap Song and by the time he moved back to Frankfurt, he would record english rap in a local Studio outside of his little hometown. As he grew older, he moved to Berlin to fullfill his dream to become a musician. He studied musicmanagement and finished his bachelor degree at the age of 22. Kago was always in conflict with himself, his friends, girls and constantly seeked for a place to feel like home but never found it. He battled depression he could only overcome by making music.
