Kai Djuric

Surrounded by music and dance since childhood, Kai has always had a deep connection with melody and sound that has allowed him to become the accomplished musician and DJ he is today. The years spent living and developing as a musician in Toronto helped him to experience and explore the full spectrum of musical styles. Kai has been performing live music since he was 15, and at 18 he was offered a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

The more time musicians spend learning and honing their craft, the better their connection with the music, which leads to a more intimate style, in turn conveying authenticity and genuine emotion to their audience. Kai began playing music in Belgrade, Serbia, more than 25 years ago. As a young student of classical music, he has been winning awards on the national stage since childhood.

Kai’s musical expertise expanded with his relocation to Toronto, Canada, and since 1995 he has been performing jazz, R&B, funk, Latin and big band music worldwide. Aside from headlining live performances, Kai has an impressive CV in music direction and production all over the world.

In addition to playing the trumpet, Kai is versed in a variety of percussion instruments, and always strives to expand his musical horizons through integration of multiple musical styles and influences. His new band, Next Level, is getting serious attention performing a live mix of dance, R’n’B and acid jazz.
