Kai Fjellberg, a Norwegian bluesartist, hit the blues stage in his early twenties. Since then, he has been involved with several bands both rock n roll as well as blues bands. Kai has toured Norwegian blues clubs and festivals for over 15 years. Together with his band members he has toured both in Europe and USA. Fjellberg is also the co songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in the Norwgian bluesband The Blues Express. In 2019 Kai and the rest of the guys in The Blues Express won the 2 nd place in The European Blues Challenge at The Azores. Fjellberg also wrote most of the songs for their highly acclaimed blues album in 2018, for which they achieved a Norwegian Grammy Award Nomination in the Blues Category. In 2020 Kai started writing songs for his own soloproject, which will be compiled to a vinyl LP sometime in 2021. The LP will consist of 10 original contemporary blues songs, exploring lyrical themes such as anxiety, depression as well as more joyfull moods . The album will be released both on digital platforms as well as vinyl LP.
