KAIA KENA is a Colorado artist and songwriter known for her captivating vocal and folktronic soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from other stand-out artists such as Ellie Goulding, Imogen Heap and Japanese House, Kaia is best described as indie-electronic with pop-songwriter undertones. “The Visual Concept Album” is a 5-song visual EP that weaves themes of fantasy, nature and self-perception. Crowd-funded through Kickstarter, the “Thorns” video won “Best Music Video” in July 2019 at LA International Film Festival, and was featured at several other festivals across the country. Her goal is to pair heartfelt lyrics with dramatic soundscapes, and speak to our collective humanity. New music is on the way!
