Ever since I was little, me, my brother, and my mother have always had to move around a lot, mostly for financial reasons. It was stressful, although they were not long distance moves, they were all filled with uprooting something established, packing it up, and starting anew. Once high-school came and we were in a more semi permanent living situation, all my friends started progressing in their lives while I stayed still, career path wise; college, etc. Even before moving around everywhere and watching others take premade steps for them to achieve their goals, I always knew that I wanted to sing for any and all to listen. I have no premade steps. I have support, but no one to really help me but myself. The thought of being forced to do anything else for my livelihood felt torturous. I've never been able to settle with anything less than expressing myself through the words I have to say with a voice people want to hear. So that is what I am here to do, make you hear me.
