Kaiju-Grind/monster violence purveyors, Kaiju Daisenso mix the blood of powerviolence, grind, hardcore and metal into one pissed off giant Japanese monster. The band’s swirl of fantastically riffy, noisy grind and excellent use of nostalgic sound bytes from old Kaiju films will take you straight back to your childhood, glued to the TV as massive beasts pummel each other with technicolor ray blasts. Dedicated to their craft, their albums keep the all-out monster war theme strong, with titles like Radiation Scars and Reptilian Majesty, while the songs focus on individual film moments like “Kilaakian Enslavement” from Destroy All Monsters (1968), “The Beast” from The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms (1953) or “Jet Jaguar A Go Go” from Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973).
