Kaitlyn Kilian is a fifth-generation farmer from northern Oklahoma. The singer/songwriter is
a small-town storyteller with dreams vaster than the sweeping wheat fields. Her roots in Medford, Oklahoma, are strong, but her wings are stronger.
Her songs are reminiscent of Trisha Yearwood and The Chicks, a sweetness that bites
back, packing clever lyrics with a down-home charm that is equally fresh and familiar.
Kaitlyn pairs her penchant for storytelling with a keen and corny sense of humor to create
her unique style that has won the attention of some of country music's best and brightest.
Throughout her career, Kaitlyn has opened for artists, including label mate Wyatt Flores,
Deana Carter, Granger Smith, Jake Worthington, and Aaron Watson. Kaitlyn signed with
her record label, OEG, in 2020. She met founder Susan Owens and son Tyler Woodward, who
quickly helped her build a band. She spent the next few years playing gigs and honing her
songwriting capabilities in Nashville. She went on tour in 2023 and has been releasing
music since. Kaitlyn's new song, "Married by May" is available now, and a full project is
expected later in the year.
Her songs smack of the female artists who inspire her and lean into a late-90's country
sound. Kaitlyn wants to tell relatable stories of love, grit, hard work, and humor from the
hearts of the people in middle America. With this Oklahoma farm girl at the wheel, country
music's future is as wide open as the plains where Kaitlyn grew up.
