Kaleb Rai Salas (alias, H4TRD), is a Guam-based artist and musician, is a technical guitarist, producer, and composer. He discovered his knack for music after listening to Toby Fox's Undertale soundtrack. He taught himself using LMMS in the beginning.
Music took a backseat to life for a while, but in 2021, he was back at it again, stronger than ever. That year, he picked up guitar, learning the tracks “Master of Puppets,” “The Worst,” and later “Playing God,” excelling super quickly, and at the same time, getting the hang of melody, motif creation, and musical structure even more. His first YouTube uploads were videos of him playing the game Undertale soundtracks, and he kept on building an audience until the account was erased.
Kaleb is in LOVE with the likes of Tim Henson and Polyphia, trying to fuse it with soundtrack. With a friend <a href="spotify:artist:2jqjFgIMFpafTKcWXOLca6" data-name="toko.">toko.</a> (Nathan Galas), Kaleb has also tried lo-fi music.
Kaleb has also done a cover of Polyphia's “The Worst,” which is one of his favorite tracks.
He has collaborated with Japanese singer-producer <a href="spotify:artist:03nUEoORnr0amJr7C1FEZr" data-name="ichihano">ichihano</a> on the concept anime song “Rewrite,” which features a technical rock-influenced guitar. He looks at the anime “Bocchi the Rock!” for his daily creative inspiration, alongside Polyphia, giving him the drive to move forward.
