Kalwich (Matous Kalvach) is a Czech-American Recording Artist, songwriter, musician, and producer. At the age of fifteen, he recorded his debut album, “Real Dream”, with a music video of the same name. This album established his presence at the Óčko music station, where he won first place in their “New Artist” competition. Following this win, he opened the 2011 Óčko Music Awards. In 2013, Kalwich went on his first Summer Tour, hitting cities all over the Czech Republic.
In 2014, he released his second album, “Gentleman”. Coinciding with each song were music videos. The leading single, “Naučíš Mě Lítat”, celebrates just under 2M views on YouTube. The “Gentleman” album features videos filmed in the United States as well as Czech Republic. Following this album release, Kalwich has shared multiple hit singles including “Typek” and “Ja To Vim”.
Kalwich resumes his recording career in 2021 with smash 5 track EP - Jsem Tady, that serves as a "Hey I'm back" message for his fans; all produced and mixed in Oklahoma City from his home-studio.
2024 marks a brand new era for Kalwich as he releases his first original song in English — Manipulate.
Kalwich currently resides in Oklahoma City, OK with his wife, Kate Kalvach. They regularly return to his hometown in the Czech Republic.
