Artist, singer, songwriter Kam Nasty is bringing a new sound to hip-hop/R&B. Born in Bronx, New York, NY. Kam was raised in the Melrose & Courtlandt neighborhood of Bronx.
Kam Nasty began writing rhymes and singing when he was in grade school, and he transitioned into making music full-time by the end of 2017.
With his smooth blend of R&B, Future Pop and Hiphop music it brought him more attention.
Kam Nasty’s single “Celine” & “Whenever I’m Gone” is his most explosive viral moment to date, starting on SoundCloud but organically crossing all platforms. With “Celine” placed at the number 1 spot for SoundCloud’s largest Hip Hop Playlist, Best Rap Right Now: Drippin’ and “Whenever I’m Gone” placed at number 1 on SoundCloud’s, Charts: New & hot-Top 50: All music genres & Top 50 New & hot: Hip-hop & Rap. His recent Ep “Loved Turned Toxic” (released on Valentine’s Day of 2022) will serve as the precursor to a full length R&B project “Dangerous Memories” which was released in 2024.
With all of life’s challenges, Kam considers music “his sanctuary, something like my own world and I want to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. I make music for everyone, but specifically for the same people who deal with what i go through on a day to day basis. Im not afraid to be vulnerable in my art.”
