An Azerbaijan raised unique musician
Born to a family with deep roots in Azeri Mugam - ancient holy singing and classical music. As an immigrant from Azerbaijan, USSR she uses various languages and folklores to express her artistic visions.
Her first album “Mamaland” was released in 2015 as a manifest to her family in Azerbaijan. Her second album “My Baby Cancer” will be released in 2021 as a sign of her recent triumph over breast cancer.
The songs in the album were written and composed by Kamila and the brilliant music producer Noam Helfer.
Kamila’s deep connection to the mystic Azery shaman music blended with Noam’s part as a prophet of new-age electronic art of sound.
Together they represent a lush mix of ancient and modern.
