Kan Kan were a cult band known for their theatrical performance . With their initial single Film Noir, they set a marker for their music, dramatic and impressionistic lyrics, enigmatic music and always a sense of a dark mysterious world filled with drama. They were a favourite of John Peel and played constantly in London including gigs at The Rainbow, The Lyceum, The Camden Palace, The ICA , The Marquee and UK touring. They recorded a Peel session for The BBC. The group founder Patrick Dineen has gone to work as a composer/lyricist in film and media and also record his own albums. He can be heard on Spotify and band camp. https://patrickdineen.bandcamp.com/album/patrick-dineen
