KANAI is an psychedelic indie punk group from the emerging Madrid scene made up of the Venezuelan Leo Rivero (vocalist and guitarist), and the Madrilenians Erik Sebastian de Erice (drummer), Daniel Mendez (bassist), Raquel Gago (vocalist) and Jaime Fernandez (guitarist). Our main influences are groups and artists, new like Mac DeMarco, or Tame Impala or classics like Sex Pistols or Led Zeppelin and this gives rise to our search to create music that connects with the listener creating atmospheres and generating doubts varying with genres from indie to punk or psychedelia.
