Kanfurneira

Kanfurneira is a Galician artist with a wide career since she was 17 years old. Influenced by several genres such as salsa, cumbia, rap, pop, rock, reggae, soul or ballads, she started her journey studying Performing Arts and Music in A Coruña in 2014 and vocal technique certifying with several degrees. In 2016 she began to be part of the Galician verbena , being a member of the Duo Harmonía and performing in some towns around Galicia and also, recording an album with salsa classics and boleros. At this time, she performs Christmas concerts in her native town and then she moves to Ireland passionate about getting to know other Celtic cultures. With a lot of new experiences that make her realize that she has to compose, she does a master's degree in music production during the pandemic that makes her release her first single ÉRGUETE , a song with a message of freedom. Feeling like emigrate again, she moved to Malta, a very important time for her career as she participated in the jam community with other artists from the island and performed her first acoustic concerts with repertoire in Galician and English. Coming back to Galicia she has the opportunity to record a version of A Vitoria ; song by the galician group Ataque Escampe, in the Fununcan studio and with Alex Charlón, the band's lead singer.
