Kanna is a Jazz / Soul group based in South East London. In partnership with LoveHate Records, they released their debut EP on 27th November. Their first single “Reflections” dropped in Spring 2020, which was followed up by a “Live from Lockdown” video session of their second single “No Room”. The two releases have received much positive acclaim from listeners and along with LoveHate’s support the band’s fanbase continues to grow.
Self-produced, the quartet have grown their sound patiently and organically into an exciting collection of tracks that dance between genres and collective influences. The music challenges the listener at a technical level, yet at its core is a powerfully emotive reflection of the human experience - dealing with issues of conflict, loss, and power dynamics.
