Mumbai based longtime friends, collaborators, and multi-dimensional artists, Agni Varan Ruhela and Palkesh Agrawal’s founded KAPTAANS in 2018 and established themselves as an electronic music duo. Their music is international, have foot tapping rhythms. The melodies are contemporary with inspirations from Rnb, EDM, Hip hop, Blues and Pop. What makes them special is, they are one of the few INDIAN artistes that have a brilliant technical display of creative collaboration in Hindi language. They met in a music school ‘TRUE SCHOOL OF MUSIC’ in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Together so far they have released 11 songs; latest being ‘ROMANTIC GALLAN’ which was released on 14th Feb, 2022.
This talented duo not only excels in homemade recording and mixing of euphonious tracks, but has also headlined the background scoring at Ms. & Mrs. International India in 2019. Their track ‘TU LAGDI HOT’ was featured in an Indian Movie ‘The Successful Losers’ on MX player, which was sung by SANAM PURI and was composed by KAPTAANS. Their song ‘ISHARE’ in collaboration with CHITRALEKHA SEN (BANNA RE FAME) was a major hit.
In the era of remakes and remixes, the KAPTAANS’s vision is to promote themselves as established and well known independent artists, who create their own unique sound of music that, compels the audience to groove to their tunes. They also want to mainstream RnB music presence all across India.
