Rebel global beat since 1992 Argentine🇦🇷. The original exponent of fusion music on the southern side of America.
The Folk/ska/reggae/punk based collective debuted with the independently produced and released album @la kulebra in 1993, created by @goy karamelo with influences ranging from Hilario Cuadros to the Clash. Perfectos Idiotas came out in 1998 and two years later, Manu Chao invited the act to open Latin-American and European shows. That same year, the band gigged in the U.S. band México. Karamelo Santo also has a long-lasting link with European audiences and toured the region extensively, being the only Argentine band with over 180 shows on its shoulders. The discography was released all over Latin America, Europe, Japan and the U.S. Goy is cultural ambassador of his hometown, Mendoza.
