Karl Haugland Bjorå (born 1991 in Arendal, Norway)
Musician and composer residing in Oslo, Norway. Has become a very active improvising musician on the Scandinavian and European scene the last couple of years, in the bands Karl Bjorå’s Aperture, Megalodon Collective, Yes Deer, OWL and Emmeluth’s Amoeba amongst others. He has also participated in a variety of ad hoc constellations with musicians such as Balazs Pandi, Linda Sharrock and Klaus Holm.
Coming out of the highly creative and well recognised improv and jazz scene in Trondheim, Karl has since 2012 toured throughout Scandinavia, Japan, the Pharoe Islands and big parts of Europe and North America with the bands Yes Deer, Megalodon Collective, Brute Force and Karl Bjorå’s Aperture.
