Karl Olgeirsson was born in 1972 in Sweden but has lived most of his life in Reykjavik,Iceland. He works as a musician and producer. Working in various groups such as Karl Orgeltrio and DJÄSS he also finds time to work on his solo music. His debut album under his own name, Mitt bláa hjarta (My Blue Heart), a song collection with various artists,was released in 2018 and got 3 nominations and 2 awards at the Icelandic Music Awards in 2019. Olgeirsson’s second solo album, STILLUR, comprises of old icelandic patriotic songs and traditionals in his interpretations on solo piano.
