Karlsn is a multi-genre electronic music producer and musician from Orange County, California, best known for his work in drum and bass. He began producing music at just 8 years old, recreating his favorite hip hop and pop tracks on GarageBand during elementary school. By age 12, he shifted focus from singing and songwriting to full-time music production, initially working primarily within hip hop. After gaining experience through collaborations and industry work, Karlsn felt creatively limited producing for others and eventually transitioned to electronic dance music—a move that allowed him full artistic freedom and the ability to perform his own tracks live. Since then, he has explored a wide range of styles including house, pop, techno, and tearout dubstep, ultimately finding his passion in the high-energy, technical world of drum and bass. While that’s currently his main focus, Karlsn continues to push boundaries and plans to branch out into more genres in the future.
