Karmacosmic is the project by Carsten Agthe, Rüdiger Gleisberg and Mathias Grassow. Together they developed a concept in which they combine musical know-how with spirituality: beautiful melodies meet spherical New Age sounds, Indian sounds meet percussive rhythms, ecstatic grooves meet meditative soundscapes. On the second album the trio gets support from Darshini. In order to complete the connection between Orient and Occident, the trio was expanded to include another veteran: DIRK SCHLÖMER, who already made a name for himself as a rock guitarist in the early 80s now enriches KARMACOSMIC and leaves resurrect this project as a real band and as a quartet. His experience as a producer - including in Peter Gabriel's REAL WORLD Studios - but also his hypnotic experiments with Ornah Mental are now being incorporated into the third Karmacosmic production.
